This notice explains what we do with the information you send us through this website.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us: your name, institution, email address, country, the products and quantities you are interested in and any message you write. The enquiry form on this site does not transmit data to a server — it composes an email in your own mail client, which you send yourself.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations, arrange shipping and provide documentation. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Sharing

Where necessary to fulfil an order, information is shared with couriers and customs brokers for the sole purpose of delivering your shipment. Where our suppliers must be involved in a technical question, we share only what is needed to answer it, and we do not disclose your identity without your agreement.

Our legal basis for processing

For enquiries we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to a business request. For quotations, orders and shipments we process the data because it is necessary to perform the contract with you. For accounting, tax and customs records we process the data to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

International transfers

We are established in China. Where a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is necessary to answer your enquiry or ship your order, we transfer only what is required, use the safeguards available to us (for example standard contractual arrangements offered by our service providers), and keep the volume of transferred data to a minimum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months. Quotation and order records: for the period required by accounting and customs rules, typically six years. Shipping and customs documents: as required by the relevant authority.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights write to sales@medical-ivd.com; we answer within one month. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Our representative for the EU and the UK

We do not yet maintain a representative in the European Union or the United Kingdom. If your enquiry would require one, tell us at the point of contact and we will say plainly whether we can proceed, rather than processing your data without an adequate basis.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses no advertising cookies. If we enable visitor statistics, it is for aggregate traffic measurement only, and we will state it here.
